How green are you?

Green Google logo and the fact that I subconsciously chose green jumper today? Well, I don't know...how green am I actually? Sometimes we tend to dream about 'green' word, 'green' approach, 'green' reality. But are we actually living up to our own standards? (I am questioning myself after buying my two laptop bags at the local military shop and realizing I just supported wrong industry just to look cool?! how stupid of me!!!) Are we recycling because we are forced to by our local council, or do we do it with conviction?
What is the extend of our knowledge about environmental issues?
The reason why I am asking those questions is because today I have found out about an interesting, potential shift in my life and I really hope it will prove - sooner or later - possible. But it also made me realise that some of my views are not always completely consistent and I need to work on it more.
I am very happy that my friends welcome all my voluntary, activist or charity activities with appraisal and 'yes, it is really you' type of speech, but let's face it: do we really know what it means to be green? I decided to test myself and I proved to be 'mid-green'. Oh well, will start with kids activities and move on to more sophisticated stuff later on;)
But seriously, do think above your 'green' beer today: how green are you?

Still if you are green by law or by conviction, I think that you are green, and that helps the environment. then we need more green laws in effect.
Yes, it is a good start, but is 'green by law' enough? And what about the areas of the word where law and economy have other priorities?
