Playing with data from the Olympic Games - Cadbury's and BBC

There are a lot of promotional activities around this topic, but I have found two cure projects based on data related to the Olympic Games for myself. First is the Cadbury's Choculator - simply because I love chocolate;) In the spirit of Cadbury's fun users can now calculate distances for various Olympic sports in chocolate bars - even if trivia, I think the idea can be quite good to engage with virtual audiences, specially in a rich social media landscape of this brand.

Second tool was launched by the BBC and brings quite interesting insights into two data sets - height and weight of all Olympic athletes. I was not so much interested in my personal tip but it was quite interesting to see that the weight of Olympic athletes is varying from 4kg to 160kg for example. Simple tool, but informative, fun to use and I can see how the engagement here can also be shared with personal networks. I like it!
