The recent landing of Curiosity rover on Mars really got into me. (So did the news on new pyramids discovered via Google maps). It's funny, you know, because I happen to know at least two people who are involved in scientific work around space - one investigating sun, the other working in robotics of Mars missions (currently happily lost in the desert of Chile testing his "toys") and yet it is that moment when I sit in front of my laptop looking at the panorama photos of Mars surface when this realisation hits me: I AM LOOKING AT MARS! And it's all down to tech! Technology is indeed amazing and only a fool would fail to acknowledge that! We are living exciting times!
